At startup time of iRed an empty VRC will be opened automatically, which you may edit right away. If you want to create a new VRC, please choose "New" from the "File" menu or use the shortcut -N
Preferences: "Open empty VRC at startup"
Using the Preferences panel you may toggle the automatic opening of empty VRCs: deselect the respective option. This comes very handy if you only want to use iRed's trigger handling capabilities:
