If you are using a bluetooth mobile and the famous software SallingClicker, you can remote control applications on your Mac. Especially iTunes is very nice integrated. If, on the other side, you want to control your HiFi set using your mobile as well you are reliant to iRed.
It is very simple to create SallingClicker actions to remote control iRed. To achieve this all you have to do is to create a single-line AppleScript like this:
