Using VRCs

To use a VRC, please start iRed and choose Open from the File menu, or double-click the VRC in the Finder, alternatively.

The VRC opens and is immediately ready to send IR codes, when you click the respective buttons.

Some buttons have a repeat function which is nice for sound volume changes, e.g. This function is restricted to 5 repetitions for security reasons. (You may turn off this secure behavior in Preferences)

To edit the VRC click Edit or use "Edit" from the "File" menu (-E). In edit mode it is not possible to send IR codes. You have to close the VRC before or use the "Test" buttons on the inspector window.
